It's a new quarter! This quarter's theme is "1st and 2nd Corinthians." This week we get a glimpse of Paul's ministry to the church in Corinth. The church, as we will see, was full of problems, and Paul faced these challenges with the message of the Cross (1 Cor. 2:2).

Next week's lesson: The Message of the Cross — "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." (1 Corinthians 1:18, NIV)
